What's behind our Balance products?
Our Balance line consists of high-quality monoprotein meat blends that fully cover the animal component of a BARF ration. No more tedious weighing of offal or juggling different types of meat – it's all perfectly balanced!

All varieties are suitable for both dogs and cats, although the CH-Poultry Balance for Cats has a higher taurine content – perfectly tailored to their needs.

The sterilized version differs from the other Balance products because it already contains the fiber component. Psyllium husks and pumpkin flakes are directly integrated here and, together with the high-quality Balance meat component, ensure a complete meal. Find out below which additives you should add to perfectly round out the ration.
It's that easy: Feeding Balance products
For dogs:
The optimal BARF ration consists of 80% animal components and 20% plant components. Our Balance products completely cover the 80%. So all you need to do is supplement the plant components – either with regional fruits and vegetables or with our practical vegetable and fruit mix, frozen or in flake form. You should also add:
- A high-quality salmon oil for omega-3 fatty acids, alternating with cod liver oil for vitamin D
- Seaweed powder for iodine supply
- Occasionally a raw egg yolk/or a boiled egg, tripe, omasum, or sprouts for more variety (2-4 times per week)
Note: Bones, heart, or liver should not be added separately – they are already included in our Balance products!
Variety – Fish & Salmon in the Bowl
For a little variety in your Balance products, you can also add fish or salmon. Now you might be wondering: But wait a minute – they're not included in Balance! Don't worry! Fish and salmon provide valuable nutrients and can be added to the menu as an extra.
A day without Balance products won't throw your pet off balance. On the contrary – they'll receive other valuable nutrients on that day, while the rest of the week's needs are optimally met by the Balance products. Always remember: You too can indulge in a cheat day or eat a little too much chocolate :) But please – no chocolate for your dog! A piece of salmon is a welcome and healthy change.
For cats:
Cats need an even higher meat content – therefore, we recommend 95% animal components and 5% plant-based components. Here, too, Balance products completely cover the animal component. You should also add the following:
- A good salmon oil for omega-3 fatty acids
- Seaweed powder for iodine
- Some fresh heart now and then for an extra dose of taurine
Since cats are often picky eaters, it's worth alternating between Balance varieties or including a meal with fish or salmon every now and then – this keeps the food exciting and varied! It's important to remember: Cats always like their food fresh. What they don't eat today might interest them again tomorrow. So don't leave it out, put it in the refrigerator and offer it fresh later.
